Long story short it behaves completely different from my other phone where I can adjust brightness without turning off the “auto”. ![]() If I increase the brightness manually in most cases the slider immediately moves backwards as if I did not touch it in Control center. Apple, for example, annoyingly places its auto-brightness option in Settings > Accessibility > Display rather than Settings > Display &. ![]() Now you can turn on or off auto-brightness as desired. Then scroll down until you find Auto-Brightness. So I strain my vision and finally have a headache or get tired soon as I am reading something. Inside Accessibility find Display & Text Size and tap on it. It seems to me that my display is often too dark for my eyes. But how to find the toggle? Where do you think it is hidden? But in iOS 11 it disappeared for some reason. If you have an older iPhone, to turn off automatic display brightness, go to ifttings of iOS (by tapping on the rotella dingranaggio), choose the item Screen.
